Students should arrive at the school 15 minutes before the
Assembly. Soon after the assembly bell the school gates will be locked and the latecomers will
have to return home at the risk of the parents/ guardians. The school holds no responsibility if
a student has to return home during school hours for noncompliance of this rule. |

a) No one who has been absent or late may be admitted to class
without the principal's permission. The students who have been absent from the class must have
the reason for their absence noted in the diary with parents signature |

No leave of absence is granted without a previous application
in writing from the guardian. |

For marriage within the family a leave of only 2 days can be
granted. |

Reason for absence of one or two days may be written in the
school diary with signature of parents/ guardian. If the absence is of more than two days then
an application mentioning the details must be brought with signature of parents/ guardian. |

All the Doonites (students of Doon Public School) should behave
in good manner on their way to and from the school. It must be remembered that the school is
judged they their conduct. Thus students are responsible and answerable for their behaviour not
only in the school campus but also outside. |

All the students must speak in English in the school premises.

All the students article must be marked with their name
admission number and class. They must take good care of their belongings. |

Students are discouraged from wearing ornaments or bringing
valuable items in the school. The school will not be responsible for any loss of such items.

bring any magazine, newspaper or novels to the school. |

Any damage done to the school property should be repaired or

Parents and guardians are not allowed to see their ward or a
teacher or enter the school verandah during the school hours. |

Those who bring their children to school must come properly
dressed and leave the campus immediately. |

Home work must be mentioned in the school diary and should be
neatly completed in the notebook. |

Smoking, chewing gum and use of tobacco products are strictly
forbidden in the school premises. |

Students should treat others respectfully. Physical assault,
gang formation, vandalism making threats, calling nickname, using abusive and unparliamentary
language, spreading rumors etc. are strictly forbidden, and are liable to strict disciplinary
action including expulsion from the school. |

Students must address their teachers and all members of the
school with respect and politeness. |

Students are not allowed to ride scooty or motorcycle to the
school. Any reported violation of this rule makes him/her liable for disciplinary action
including fine |

Students are not allowed to call parents by phone/ leave the
school premises during school hours or recess without the permission of the principal. No child
will be sent home even if some urgent need arises, unless a duly authorized person comes to
fetch him/ her with a note of authority from the parents or guardian together with his/her
identity card. |

It is compulsory for every student to take part in curricular
and co curricular activities organized by the school. |

Personal cleanliness is very essential. The fingernails
should be trimmed and unpolished, hands mehandifree and the shoes be polished daily. The school
does not allow tight fit pants, slim fit shirts, fashionable hairstyle and hair highlights.
Wristwatch, Bangles, hairpin, rings, ornaments, jewellery money, mobile, camera, electronic
gadgets etc. are not allowed in the school. |
