Doon Public School, located in NandanPahar, Deoghar, was established in 1992 under the Santhal Educational and Cultural Trust. The school was founded by Mr S. P. Singh and was blessed with the active support of Late.Sri.Bameshwar Prasad Narayan Sinha, who served as the President of the Santhal Educational and Cultural Trust and was formerly the HOD English at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradoon. During his five-year presidency, he introduced new pedagogical approaches and teaching techniques that helped shape the purpose and administration of the school. He was an author, best known for his work "Valour and Wisdom", and continued to bless the school until his last breath.
